Taking the dash out

I've taken off the wings, bonnet, boot, hood, the rest of the interior and windshield.

I am getting ready to start taking off the dash and everything underneath it.

Are there any pitfalls I need to worry about? Any words of wisdom?

Or is this just a case of following the bently's book?

Thanks for all of the help.

One of the most helpful things you can do is to disconnect the tach cable at the dizzy early in the process. It will allow you to pull the dash further from the mounting surface to get behind and disconnect other cables and wires when you get to that part of the process.

As previously stated, take lots of pictures.

Also, mark all your wires. Makes life simpler later.

Having gone through what you have done, the only added thing I would ad to the above would be to place parts in baggies and label them.

Just be a man and rip it out. You forget everything when it's time to but it back in!
Of course not everyone take 7 years to put it back in like me!
