I tried to put my new (US-built) Twin Cam Escort racer in the "Other Cars" Gallery but the Image Manager seems to be verklempt in that part of the forum.

Yep...Quite true...

Hard to believe this car was actually produced up to 1980.
I mean it's a 4 speed w/ leaf springs & other obsolete technology.
What is even more astonishing is that we generally do well with them.
(and sometimes win)

Heck....The Elva had double wishbones, 4 links & a panhard w/ coil overs all the way around standard in 1958

I was going to mention to Bugeye58 that they actually have a competition event where you stand em on 2 wheels like that for as long as possible but in the next pic I saw where he would've lost!!! owwwiieee!!
