That time of year in many places and one thing I have to offer that I haven't seen in any of the forums over the years.
Pull the fuel line off before the carbs and put a punch or something like it in the line and clamp it down. I have had 2 cars needle and seat go leaking over a long period of inactivity and fill the oil pan to overflowing. I like to fill the tank and put stablizer in, but that puts the tank level about the carbs, thus a problem when the floats keep falling with the gas evaporation and get a little sticky, an now you have a nice clean oil pan. Check to make sure your dip stick is not showing about 2 quarts too many before starting it up in Spring.
