Stainless Heat Shield for Triple Carb Manifold

Hey all,

I've been working on a template for a stainless heat shield for the Goodpart's triple ZS manifold. The template is done and I should be doing a test fit with the fabricator sometime in the next couple weeks.

The heat shield will be cut to accommodate the Rat-Co throttle linkage but could be easily modified to work with the stock linkage that is used with Richard Good's kit.

I was just seeing if there's any interest out there for this product. If we finally come up with a design, it would probably be cheaper to get several units made than only one.

I'm not in this for money, so I would only charge for materials, labor and shipping. But again, I don't have a working part yet, so nothing may come of this, however the more orders I get the cheaper the cost will be.

Interested in knowing some cost breakdowns.

I spoke with the fabricator about the cost and he said it that the only difference of cost would be the stainless. He suggested that I source out a 4x8 sheet and cut as many as I can out of that. Apparently, he's doing the computer work for free. The only thing I'm paying for is machine time and materials.

The metal will be laser cut.

I'm still working out the details, so I'll update everyone when I know more.
