Wedge Sports Car Market Magazine - TR7/8 Review

One of my favorite magazines is call Sports Car Market. On Page 38 of the Sept 2011 issue is a review of the TR7 & TR8.

It is a one pager that hits most of the highs & lows about the two cars. TR7 owners will not like the perspective of the article, but TR8 owners will at least have some hope.

Nice picture of a 1978 Green TR8 Prototype coupe in the magazine. I assume it is owned by one of this clan?

Is that the one where they said "The TR7 is selling for throwaway prices, probably deservedly so" ?

I LIKE my TR7, i just dont have the time to drive it AND work on my TR6 resto >_< That's the only reason I'm shopping it around. It's actually comfortable to drive (unlike stock earlier TRs, which take some work, or seat-swaps to get comfortable) , with plenty of space, even for tall people =)

Guess that line was from a few years back. But I was right, it was from Sports Car Market magazine =) The article was talking about triumphs and their collectability.

"There are also 112,000 wedge-shaped TR7s that are selling today at near-throwaway prices, which people say is about right. "

Yea well, they are equally tough on my Ferrari 355.

The last issue suggested I should push it to the curb and be thankful I don't get charged for collection fees as they take it away

The review they had suggested TR8's might have some collectibility and improvement in price....nice to at least see in writing.
