Source for spray cans of touch-up paint?

Can anyone recommend a good source to buy spray cans of touch-up paint?

Autocolorlibrary.com just gave me a major headache in that the 1st stage of their paint selection process is getting a paint code from a vintage card with paint chips, & of course the paint code for Damson is obliterated from their card.

Also, what do folks recommend for the silver color that was used on Spitfire/GT6 wheels & TR6/GT6 valve covers?

Tower Paint ...My son got some spray cans from them for his V-Dub when he was adding some body tupperware. The paint they mixed up for him in the spray cans were a perfect match to the car.

For what it is worth I used Paintscratch recently for two touch up paints premixed and delivered in spray cans.

The BRG was a touch off, but to be fair it could be that paint my DPO used wasn't the correct tone.

The other color I ordered was spot on.

Their online site isn't the best, but I received the order quickly.

I used a can of white from paintscratch. Hard to tell the difference from where I sprayed and where the original meets. I also used their touchup pen for some nicks and am very happy with their product.

I just recently got some red from O'Reilys Auto Parts in a can. They have a camera thing they put on the hood of your car in several places, and then mix the color from whatever that gives them. They did me a virtually perfect match. Then, they have a little spray can deal for about $5 bucks that you can put the paint in to do spraying of small areas. I haven't tried it yet, but I hear they work great. I've been using the Q-tip method that's out on the VTR website. Lots of work, but it's working for me.

1/2 pint of the paint was $12.

I am having problems with it too. The sites images are not loading correctly on the paint car identifier plate gif. It's not only the Triumph car it's all.

Many auto paint suppliers can mix the paint and put it in cans. Ask a body shop where they get their paint and call them. In Atlanta ther are several stores called "Auto Color" and not all of them can put it in the spray can for you but their largest store does and ships it to the one you want to pick it up at. I had them mix some for my Pierce Arrow Jack and it worked perfectly.

Another option is to have your automotive paint supplier (I have used PPG) to computer-match your existing paint job. They will usually four different shots of your paint from four different flat surfaces and their computer reads the colors, giving a very, very close color match. This might come in handy if you have a custom color or a faded color. No two mixes of paint ever come out the same, even when using the same formula. Then use one of those disposable paint sprayers as mentioned above. Since my paint is a custom color and is basecoat/clearcoat at that, the computer generated color worked perfectly for me. I had the paint mixed in a 1/2 pint size (they wrote the formula on the can for me) in acrylic enamel which applies over rock chips easily and dries with its own shine. Being dissimilar paints doesn't matter, and filling a rock chip takes several micro-layers to fill the hole but the result is quite acceptable.
