So my obsession with RHD cars has come to a head (sorta) and I'm now officially sorta kinda maybe we'll see looking for a RHD Bugeye (or maybe a RHD MGB or MGBGT or maybe a TD or a Spridget). How's that for a decisive position.

And no, for a bunch of personal reasons, I'm not interested in converting my existing car or any car for that matter, and yes, I understand the driving and possible rust issues with RHD. Yes, this is all a bit silly and doesn't make much sense, but then passions often are.

So ya'll keep an eye out if something crosses your path. I do not want a restoration project (driver or better only), and I'm in absolutely no rush. I expect that it will take a couple of years to find exactly what I'm looking for. Having the Tunebug to drive makes waiting a really simple prospect.

Besides, the longer it takes the more resources I can save. And yes, this breaks my one-car-at-a-time rule, but then rules are made to be broken, aren't they. I've even got my wife's approval.

So, why would a RHD have more rust issues than a LHD?

Keep your eyes open for me, Tom. I'm not against traveling to find a car (Tunebug came from Escondido).

You're killing me, JP. Geesh.

I'm a BMC man (though a RHD Toyota FJ40 could work...) so think MG or Healey. Maybe a nice MGBGT like steve_s has.
