ahead and doing it. First thing I did this morning was find the bag with the door hinges in it(from where I free up and blasted and painted them all) and install them and install the drivers door. Installing a door is great fun for all who have done it. You adjust and fiddle and never quite get it perfect but as close as you can get it even after gving it the Rover dealer twist(long story tell you of it later). I got it right enough and then saw my problem. I had that A pillar pretty darn close(wondered how I could get so far off). The problem was that darn fender at the bottom. I had welded a new panel where the old one had rusted out and the new panel being thicker kicked the fender out about 1/8th inch. I dreaded taking the fender back off but bit the bullet and took it back loose and managed to put a V in the angled piece of the fender that holds the threaded part and this took out the 1/8th and now the fender fits flush like it should and I sanded most of the fiberglass back off and it is starting to look better. I have another question though, is there supposed to be a gap at the bottom of the A pillar to rocker ? I have one and it seems there should be one to allow the hinge area to have air flow. No pictures yet, as I have to get ready to go out with a friend of mine that I work with who decided to stop by and take me out to meet some other friends. I've not been out of the house much in 2 months so I took him up on it. Tomorrow more bodywork and istall the other door and remove the other fender as well. I can only take so much bodywork and I start getting sloppy.
