Well Black Friday is here - the malls and stores are packed, the roads are congested with travelers and shoppers, and I'm ready!
Gonna run up the road to get a load of coal for the stove, come back and start a fire, check out ebayuk for odds and ends, see if any parts I've ordered show up, look at the Moss and VB catalogs, and probably place an order with Tony.
I'm ready! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I do my Christmas shopping a day or two before the 25th. I work better under pressure. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif

Nope. You won't see me within miles of a mall today or this weekend. Paper says the loons were lined up outside the Best Buy since before midnight. No thanks.

Madness. I know better'n to jump in th' middle of a feeding frenzy or stick me mits in a catfight. "Christmas Shopping" qualifies as a combination of the two, IMO.

HUMBUG!!!

I drove by our local Best Buy around 6:00 pm Thurs, there were at least 50 people camping out! I just don't see it, there is more to life!

Cheers,

Rob

I'm staying home today and working on some BCF stuff behind the scenes!

Just got back from the frontline. It was fun.
Didn't buy anything, just drove up and down the parkway at a leisurely 35mph annoyong drivers behind who had to get somewhere quicker than I or else their world would end.
Looks on their faces was priceless.

Took a different route home and picked up a 9" bench grinder for $20, a timing light for $15 and a cup of coffee and a donut by the lake for $4. Gotta have a nap now, that was exhausting.

My wife is working the frontline today... I think she left about 3:15 thismorning. She unfortunately works at Walmart.......And in the electronics deptartment..... I feel worse for her than I did myself having to go to work yesterday.

Jerri just rolled out...I'll probably see her later this afternoon...I'm finishing the electricity in the GarageMahal addition today!

Oooooh, Tool sale!!!!!

I'm waiting for parts. Seems like the story of my life anymore. Have decided upon wifes Christmas present though so all is good.

Na, not this year. Gona wait till the price comes down and Miss Agatha is finished.

She was really ohhhhing and ahhhing over a white ceramic bread keeper at one of the local kitchen stores. In fact I liked it as well.

Yep. Been wanting a Hobart Handler 180 MIG for a while now.

He was brought in from corporate to sort out the store, so it might be my only chance.
