I thought that I would step across the fence and check out the rumor that Janel has actually ventured off into the Dark Side and recently purchased a GT6. Any truth to this? Hmmm, times they are a changin. Who wudda thunk.

I love the looks of the GT6, but they aren't very good cars. I would think an MGC would be a better purchase! Especially for someone who already knows something about restoring MGs.

I can see Janel in a good GT6. They are pretty quick and "light" feeling. Might be good therapy too as the acceleration might be just what she needs when someone starts talking the wrong kind of politics to her and gritting her teeth isn't enough of a release. :smile:

On the other hand a GT6 might just be the ticket to divorce court for Chuck. I can see him now, sticking a half shaft joint or two in and going through the transmission every six months or so. LOL

I would have one if it was cheap enough and I already had a good TR3 in the shed. TRs and GT6s are a different approach to LBCdom all the way around. At least she isn't looking at a TR7 or a Stag or a S***fire. LOL

Well I've got 5 MG's and a TR6....so I guess I am lost somewhere in the wilderness between the two paths.

mmm... "ultimate" has some defining connotations I'd not necessarily associate with "TR6"... but then I've an ill-spent youth to consider, mostly driving Lotus cars around as daily transporters. Haven't come across a TR6 yet to leave the Elan wanting anything.
