After our 1,580 mile roundtrip to the Texas Healey Roundup in Stephenville, TX this spring I decided it was finally time to find out what the problem was with the oil in the radiator. As it turned out, the head was warped and after fixing that things have been running great. By the way, the MPG for the TX trip was 17.65.
Last Sunday we returned home from a 2,515 mile trip to Conclave in VA and a family wedding in eastern OK. While we had a wonderful time at Conclave seeing old friends the highlight of the trip was the 18 ½ hour, 1,037 non-stop run from Hot Springs, VA to Poteau, OK. We left Hot Springs at 6:00 am and arrived in Poteau at 11:30 pm. Miss BT ran fantastic with nary a sign of oil in the radiator. The MPG for the Conclave trip was 20.78.
Both trips included a mix of two lane rodes along with interstate cursing.
