Remote purchase help needed!

I recently purchased a Stag, and the transport broker I hired to book transport is having difficulty in securing a driver willing to go from Griffth, IN, (south of Chicago) to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. To make matters worse, the seller is being told he needs to get the car out of the storage facility as it is going out of business.

Is there anyone in the South Chicago / Northern Indiana area who could help me out? If so, please call me at 208-691-7371.

Keep trying other transort companies - and change drop off to nearest big city and then go get it with Uhaul.

I've had 6 different companies give me the same story - bad route. Nearest "big" city is Spokane, about 45 minutes west of me, and that would be fine but I'm still getting the same story.

Can you buy yourself some time by getting someone to haul it from Chicago (away from the Seller's yard) to an alternate storage location. You then would have the time to get the rest of the logistics figured out.

Then get her to Chicago and pick her up in Spokane? You are going to have to deal with major / the biggest hubs youy can.

It is usually a good idea to check shipping options before buying remotely.

Thanks to everyone who reached out and offered to help. I took delivery of my Stag Monday and am thrilled with the car! It's an incredible car with no rust, all the proper Stag bits (engine, gearbox, etc), all the original manuals, tools, and a believable 44,000 miles! Now I just need to finish the '63 B...
