MGB Radio console removal question

Offline
I have it loose, but I'm not quite sure how to remove the heater/vent knobs. I can see a pin showing on one side of the knobs. Also how do the warning lights come out? I'm trying my best not to break it as it appears to not have any cracks.

Ok. I figured out on my own that the pins are spring loaded. Push them in to remove the knobs. One is a bit rusty and wont budge, so it's soaking in PB blaster now.

The dash installation guys at British leyland must have known more swear words than anyone in the world.

And after struggling for 2 hours with the last bolt above the warning lights, I finally took out the steering column, and noticed a convenient little hole, that when used with a really long extension, made it the easiest of all 6.

Anyway dash is out wires have been photographed, but not labeled, and I have a wicked slice on my middle finger. The rest of the under dash bolts and nuts have been pb blasted, and I'm done with this thing for today.

Glad you got it done, Kenny.

Take a break and enjoy dinner.

Shrimp Po-boys here tonight, complete with Leidenheimer French bread...
