Cheers all.
I currently have a 7 pound radiator filler cap, maybe from Moss by PO.
Seems some fluid escapes, for I see some on top of the radiator after a ride.
My Healey Mechanic tests it and tells me it's a bad cap. Bad as in not making a tight seal.
Here's the problem. Seems my stock radiator neck is a deep style. The cap I have is a deep style cap. Yet it is not making a tight seal.
He gives me a cap that works, but it does not look stock.
He says he can't locate a cap that looks stock.
Any suggestions where I can purchase one?
Read that a stock one should have a brass rivet. That would be nice, but not a deal breaker.
The one my mechanic is letting me borrow, (see attached photo) does not have the two ears on the cap, like original.
Thank you, Roger
