Preferred Jack and Jackstands for LBCs?

What do you guys use for jacks and jackstands for your LBCs? I am considering a few brands and would like to know if there are any sizes/brands/styles that folks prefer.

Another way to ask this is what methods do you guys use to jack up your cars? Preferred jack and jackstands? Anybody use ramps, too?

Thanks in advance!

My favorite is my NAPA Model # 791 6402 "Furious Jack" 2 Ton, 2 3/4" to 19 5/8" low profile service jack.

No fair mentioning jacks without pics or links

I used to use portable ramps, years ago, and I hated them! They were always slipping as I tried to drive onto them, even with various tricks to hold them in place. So today I use only a jack & jackstands.

Can't tell you what brand floor jack I use, it's an old professional model that someone else got because it was worn out, and then gave it to me because he felt it wasn't worth moving. But I really like the long arm, as it will lift from about 3" to over 24", so I can get the car high enough to work under in comfort, with only one lift (and without resorting to blocks of wood, etc).

For jack stands, I will only use the type with the cast iron jaw. I had one of the folded sheet metal ones collapse without warning. Beyond that, I don't think brand matters, but I have several pairs from Harbor Freight that I am happy with. This is the set I use most often, because of the increased height and wider base (for better stability);

Jack Laird of course

I am also fond of the double pawl and tooth [jaw] design stands. They lock positively and raise and lower in a jiffy. Plus... they are generally made of sterner stuff.
