I know this is a simple option choice. I've replied
to personal messages and the icon keeps flashing.

Tell me how to make it stop, please.

Thanks

You have a message in there somewher that you haven't opened.

Takes some digging some times....

Thought I replied to everyone. Must be something rather
old.

Check your computer ground wires.

The trick, as Basil recently explained to me, is to look for the yellow envelope on the left. That's the message causing the flashing icon. In my case, must've been a server hiccup since I know I read the message (which should be all it takes to turn off the flash, you don't have to answer every time).

Yeah, Randall, I do think it's a hiccup. Looked, relooked;
answered; reanswered, etc.

Regarding that ground. Generally work from my laptop
in bed....all hours of the night.... happens from my
work....best work done in the middle of the night; quiet,
etc.

Anyway, what I did was put a separate ground wire to each of
my comptuer keys; stretched a specific ground wire per
key from the computer to the bed rail where I have
a cluster of them all in one place...Oh, and by the
way, all connections are soldered only, cept I had to
bring in a specialist, cause my soldering sucks.

I'll let you know if I have any further envelope flashes.
