I'll probably be putting mine away in a couple of weeks. We had a glorious 80° day last week, but that was a real anomaly. The temperature is dropping fast now, and we probably won't have many more warmish days.

I'd drive my car all winter on "clear road" days, but I just work too darn close to home. Two miles is just not enough time to get the B properly warmed up.

I'll be looking to take it out for spins on any bright and clear weekend days when the roads are clean and dry, though!

Also hope to get a few little projects done on it this winter.

I'm going out of the country next week, when I get back I'll be drooling for 50deg weather.

Ok, it's official my car has been parked for the winter. At -15C it's to cold to play, and I flatly refuse to put the hard top on and use it as a winter vehicle (up here it would probably get buried in our first snow fall and I wouldn't find it til spring anyhow). Not to compain, as it was probably the best summer we have ever had in my memory for driving convertibles, nice and warm and relatively dry. Oh well, it's time to pull the shocks and do the other minor jobs I've been putting off until winter. Hope every one else had a good summer puttering.

Here in the northeast USA, I'm up to my ears in leaves (I could use a turbo-charged, V8 leaf blower at the moment)...but no snow yet.
I'll take my Spridget out for a few test runs on the street this week and then run the car in an event at Summit Point on Nov. 22. After that, it goes up on 4 jack stands. The supension, fenders and engine / trans will come out for some "Winter R&R" (which is why I don't really mind Winter.....it gives me a chance to do this type of stuff).
My daily driver is a Miata, so I'll probably still get a few top down days here and there, even if there's snow on the ground.

Here in sunny Seattle the weather is just great. For some reason the sun is out and it is dry. I don't park the car for the winter as we always get some dry sunny days in the winter. Well partly sunny anyway. Almost never snows, just a little rain.

Gee, ours has been parked for the best part of a month now....ever since the muffler fell off in August, we've not been driving it much. Then that hideous rattle developed. Then it went horridly out of tune. Fifty two calls to Moss finally saw us with the correct rear bracket for the new muffler that's been sitting in the basement for two months. Another call saw the rubber bushes sent separately. For some reason, now it won't even start....and it's too cold and has been too rainy to lie in the driveway and bolt up the muffler. On the plus side, Dad ordered the rebuild kit for the carbs, and that little balancer tool, so I guess some chilly garage time will be in order soon enough.
