The old girl (73 6)is on the road after fixing, replacing or otherwise mangling a variety of pieces and parts and agonizing over a variety of issues.
Thanks to those that patiently answered my silly questions and quite correctly ignored the really dumb ones.
I had forgotten why I really love these cars over the years, had a 76 twenty five or more years ago, after a 60 mile shake-down drive around the "neighborhood" much joy was had. I must say the Stebro set-up is a bit loud for my taste but that's probably my age showing (the Harley seems loud these days too).
Kudos to Jeff and Jeff for the carb rebuild and dizzy. Fired right up, runs smooth, pulls well.............kind of a miracle I think. Gee, not too many leaks either (oops, should not have said that).
Thanks again all. Now on to the complete rebuild of the Bugeye and the TR2 (probably followed by a frame up on the one I just got back on the road)
