MGA 'nother MG Project ['58 MGA]

Great project, Aaron, and your video is a great walk-through for anyone wishing to know how to inspect a prospect.

Are you going back to black and red? Probably my favorite combination!

And where/how did you find this?

Mickey

I know. I know. "for my wife."

Mickey, a former coworker stored it away with the intent on restoring it after buying it from the original owner's family. The owner threw a rod back in the early '70s where it sat in dry storage from then after. It comes with another early 1500 motor so I'm all set. I'd prefer keeping the original black/red but my wife is talking about something like the MGB Black Tulip...but I'm not sure how it'll pan out.

Black Tulip would be interesting. Our '73 B is Black Tulip with tan leather (purple and gold...LSU!). Great color, and LSU's the school we both went to.

Don't forget to make it safe and fit front disc brakes! The all drum cars can be a bit scary.

Aaron! Beautiful - congratulations. It's terrific when you have a good foundation to start from. Congratulations on your find!

Phil

Looks like a great candidate. Nice going and good luck with her.
