six+ years might be a slightly long interval to clean/change the solvent in a parts washer. :blush: :rolleyes:
 
Sounds like the previous owner of my old Mercedes. I asked him when did he last check the fuel filter. His response: where's the fuel filter?

Here's what was inside:

Engine ran better with a new filter cartridge. Funny how those things work.
 
actually the liquid wasn't bad - it was the layer of sludge where it had settled out - gross
 
You're supposed to change parts washer fluid?

I'd consider changing mine out, but I am not sure what to do with it. 50 years ago we dumped everything in our unpaved alley to keep the dust down. Don't want to do that these days, besides the alleys are paved.

Around here you can drop it off at lots O places - Canadian Tire (sort of like Autozone) amongst others will take it - google it. (Public Service Announcement) - now back to silliness.
