My VW Golf Gti 16v is back out of moth balls. Putting in a new steering rack turned into new cams and valve springs, poly control arm bushings and Panasport wheels with 225-45-13 Hoosier AutoCrossers

Nice!

My ~Little, red, fwd Econobox~ has the exact same tires. I've had some great races with Golfs similar to your's.

Right now, my tech-support guy at work is building a 20-valve, old-school Rabbit with cage, Megasquirt coil-overs etc. He also has a '75 Swallowtail, so I hear about watercooled VWs on a daily basis. My first VW was a '58 Type 1.....*nothing* like these modern waterbugs!

Nice combo of cars! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Thanks Nial!! I've seen you over on the Grassroots boards. My Golf was featured in there magazine. I love your Midget and am jealous of all the racing that you do with it.

Very nice MK2. Tastefully done. I'm a big VW fan up to and including the MK2 cars. After that they just seem to lose it for me.

I agree but my DD is a MK3, got to get to work some how. I've got an 84 GTi that is next on the to do list. I love Brit cars as well as Vw's.
