&, ED...you never sent a photo for me to put on theList....hey, all you MG guys: come over to https://www.theautoist.com & join 'theList' - our virtual car club for MG's

(Basil: hope you don't mind me plugging 'theList' on your site)

Tony,
I will give you a photo, when I get her painted. At this time, I am still trying to decide if I want to tackle the job myself. A serious lack of funds restricts the options of professional shops.
I am running around with just the driver's seat in the car and the console and all the carpet pulled. I got the stuff to do the interior, but want to wait until I finish the body....

Any time, Ed...I rarely attempt to paint myself as that's the 1 job that everybody seems to judge a car by!

Ed, look around for some adult education classes at your local high school or community college. I took one locally and am gonna take it again when the car is ready for final paint, just to use their spray booth

and white is one of the most forgiving colors to spray

Chuck, Chas. did that same thing when his beloved '86 Pontiac Grand Am needed new paint. He learned a lot, fell off the lift and dislocated his shoulder, but finally did get it painted, and it looked pretty sharp. Two months later, the timing chain went and destroyed the engine...

Welcome Ed!

I am sure that any friend of Tony's is a friend for all of us!

I'm not skilled enough to paint my own, but I have a nephew who takes courses at the local Community College...I wonder if he would like to take a painting class and use Dolly as a project...HMMMMMMMMMM ;-))
