The site and progress on the car looks great Tab.

What program did you use for the site creation?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this all started because of a rusted frame. If you ever have the car in Arizona I would love a ride. Super job, oh the web site is nice too.

Very sharp Tab!

Hey those don't look like the Yokohama Avid A-008 tires on Tire Rack! Very interesting tread pattern.

My mistake. Thanks for the heads up.

Well, at least they are Yoko's, so I was close.
They're actually Advan A-048's. They are DOT approved and street legal, but most likely just barely. Not too good for the wet I've been warned.

I did the site with some software that came with my Macbook laptop by the name of "I-Web". It's incredibly easy to use, but you have to have a Mobile Me account and a Mac computer.
I've built sites before using Dreamweaver and Flash and it can be a huge PITA, but this Mac software is great, and easy, easy to do. Of course your limited on what you can do, but I think it's fairly slick for being so simple.

Well, sort of. I would have found some other excuse if the frame had been fine though. I have a HUGE problem with leaving well enough alone. The old adage of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." clearly does not apply to me, although, sometimes I wish it did.

Hmmm, perhaps that's what my divorce is all about...lol.

I'm guessing they aren't rated for 60,000 mile treadwear either. Oh wow, just found them on Tire Rack and a treadwear rating of 60!

Here's a section from their description of the tire:

The ADVAN A048 is Yokohama's Track & Competition D.O.T. racing tire developed for drivers who participate in autocross competition, high-performance driving schools, lapping days and circuit-type club racing, as well as are Original Equipment on the Lotus Elise Sport. The ADVAN A048 is designed to take Yokohama's advanced racing technology to a new level in D.O.T.-approved tire performance by delivering precise control, sure-footed braking and predictable grip. ADVAN A048 tires are not intended to be driven on extremely wet roads with standing water where there is the risk of hydroplaning, in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

Perhaps "If it ain't broke, fix it until YOU are." is more appropriate?! LOL

You are doing some very nice work, no comparison to the somewhat ratty TR4 I drive. I am a bit curious about the mounting angle of the DCOE's. I thought they could be mounted at a max of 8 degrees from level, yours looks to be at about 15. Just kind of curious about how it is going to work.
