Hi All,

My name is Gino, I am in the process of restoring a 1978 Spitfire. Although it has been 27 yrs since I last owned one, which I sold. The original color of the current Spitfire was Vermillion Red, it is now BRG. This was a frame to cockpit restore, restored the engine, front and back suspension, all the bolts and screws(I did use some original, due to getting wrong parts at times),new tires, interior so on and so one. THe best part of the whole restore was a couple of weekends ago when I finally had a chance to drive it, I had no interior and used a spare tire for a seat, LOL!! Looking forward to talk with the members and hope to meet soem of you at the shows later this spring or summer. Thanks for alowing me to participate.

Hi Gino, and welcome to the forum! The Spitfire has always been one of my favourite LBCs, and I'd have another in a heartbeat! Dive in on the Triumph board and say "Hi", the in to the pub for a pint......

Gino,
Glad you are starting to find your way around this place. You will find it is the best forum of any kind on the internet. You will be able to ask any questions in the Triumph Forum. And be sure to post photos of your Spitfire. Maybe I will see you at one of the days of Das Awkscht Fescht this summer in Macungie. We can use a few more British cars...

Stop by the Pub for a pint from time to time, and enjoy the Ride!
