Are you mistaking a BMW for a British Car? Bavaria is slightly seperated.

Whose 1990 GTA did you destroy to get the motor? About one of the only collectible modern T/A'a there are.

Nevermind the geographical challenges of Britain vs Bavaria...

A trans-am motor in a BMW...

<shudder>

Do I need to grow a mullet to get it registered?

I wonder which is more sacreligious, thinking your BMW came from Britain, or putting a General Motors engine in it?

What year is the BMW? I may want your fuel pump if you're not going to use it!

Is your pump external or in-tank, Kenny?

Not likely. But there may be a "lift pump" in the tank. Small immersed pump to "prime" the main one. It could be causing the problem too. Should have thought of that right away. Sorry. It may even be fused seperately (from the main fusebox).

All the fuses are fine... even the few inline one's I've run across. I even pulled all of them to check... The main ones are all plastic external blow style fuses, and not glass ones.Just test drove it again, and it still bogs down under load. Revs slowly up to a point (sitting still, and out of gear only - probably to about 3000 rpm max), but if you punch it, in or out of gear, it bogs down like it's not getting fuel. Oh, well. Maybe in a month or so I can get a new pump and try that. I still haven't gotten a pressure gauge, Just because that's half a fuel pump in $$$.
