Just listed a $532,000.00 Healey. Four bids and they have monthly payment plan. What do they get by doing these things? They are just wasting thier money to put it on Ebay. I don't get it.
 
Join the fun. There are 3 Healeys on right now. Bid them up to millions $$ just to foil these scammers.


The scammers aren't wasting money. They steal other accounts. Doesn't cost them a cent. Scam is to get you to contact them and make arrangements off line. You pay - no car shows up.

I just bid a few million on numerous Corvettes and Mustangs! It really makes these scammers angry - proven by some of the messages they have left in the past on eBay.
 
There's a new one that promises, shall we say, the services of a member of the oldest profession. What's the scam there? Is there a way to get Paypal info from unsuspecting folks?
 
Those auctions were thick last weekend. Dozens all over the place. Some with extremely explicit pictures. I would imagine the really pornographic ones might be a joke of some kind or some kid or someone who has a problem with ebay. Or a sick mind.

There are occasions when you go to bid it takes you to a "fake" sign in page and if you do they will get info.

Still though almost all are an attempt to have you contact them off line.
 
The willingness of people to prey on others never ceases to amaze, and dismay, me. I see it every day in my profession.
 
I suppose I have watched these long enough now to be a bit numbed but it also amazes me that people fall for this.
