Need BE Pedal Box Cover

One of the missing parts on Bugsy II is the 13 1/2" x 5 1/2" cover that goes over the Pedal Box opening on a LHD BE. It appears to be a simple flat plat and probably easy to fabricate but does anyone have a spare available that are willing to part with. A strange thing to be missing when almost everything else survived attached to the car. Thanks.

the reason I ask is that I'm getting ready (next winter) to root out the tin worm. I would like to get all new A pillars, as I fear that door hinge rust thing once I have the skin taken off. ....

I know someone is making original body parts, just don't know where to look. I thought it was Ashley Hinton..

Ashley does build the stuff that AH Spares sells I do believe. Sometimes he posts stuff on E-Bay if he's got extra inventory but typically he sells wholesale only.

A post I replaced on Bugsy I. Looks like it's tough to do but isn't really. Buy a Spot Weld Cutter. Measure and measure and tack weld, fit door, support door finish weld. There is a tricky part to fit up towards the top where A-Post panel gets skinny and then goes the other direction. I simply cut the hard to fit part off. I also needed to replace the reinforcement panel inside the door in the middle of replacing the A-Post. I drilled out that piece and discovered just a folded box. Flattened out the piece with assist from my vice, made a template and cut out. Folded like the other piece, cut holes for spot welding and Bob's your uncle. Really pretty simple after all once you saw how everything was built.

Bugsy II's first new part in more than 50 years. Nice Work Ashley Hinton Hey guys thanks for the offers of used ones like this. I found one new and it was one less part to restore. Looks well made and fits well. Now if I could import a new bonnet for the 10 pounds this cost.
