Okay so this is sort of a trick question to see how close people look at the details, know the details or are at least interested in learning the details. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Keoke and DART... you have PM's!

Double-Six.

Daimler...& is it available?

I'm with you Tony, Daimler except i don't want it LOL

& its got the V8 engine

Daimler v-8 sedan... looks like about a 1963 model.

I was gonna fall for the trap and say Jag. (roughly a MKII) but I did notice the lack of badging. That would be an awsome car with the Daimler V8 in it

Is that a friend next to it?

Magnette, ZB I think.

Otherwise yes, Daimler 250 V8 (yeah it's a Hemi)

Huh. I'll be dipped...

Well, at least I didn't say anything 'ridiculous'....hehehehe

I thought the "friend" car had very similar lines to another Daimler myself... and maybe way too big to be a Magnette.

I knew it was a Daimler, and for some reason I like the looks of it. No clue on year or model though.

I came in here late, but this is an easy ID, especially considering who you PM'd, way too obvious /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

So is this one for sale? ... Not that I can afford it anyway And I'm quite curious what the car next to it is, anything interesting?

I thought the PM comment would be a hint.

MkII Jag is very close considering they were built right next to them. Pretty much one of the first 'badge engineered' Daimlers (fluted grill is a big give away to it being a 'Daimler') but these at least still had Daimler engines. Later cars could really be considered a Jaguar 'trim level'.

The owner is entertaining offers. Its complete but needs a lot of work. Here is another angle showing its 'friend' a little better. A Rover P6 sits on the other side of the Magnette. One of about seven Rover Sedans in this gentleman's possession (P6's, P6B's and SD1's).
