Assorted pars I have just sittin around. Some I can tell what they are but not sure what cars they go to. You don't win anything but ya help me decipher some of my junk.
The two items painted black that have four small holes and a large center hole are the U-bolt plates for the rear axle. A rubber bushing goes in the large center hole. There is a similar unpainted U-bolt plate to the right of these two. Above the unpainted plate is an igniton coil holder (clamp). The cable is a ground cable with a "bonnet-type" conector for the battery.
And the aluminium "straps" are the cable ties for holding the turn signal switch harness to the column on pre-'68 MG's. That black lump in the bottom photo, bottom right looks like the skeg off'n one of my old pre-carbon fiber slalom waterskis! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
...and are ya sure that red knob don't say "TAPPAN" on it?!? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
Those are Diff, straps. the twistee piece is a coil bracket, wire of course is the neg side of the batt. on a neg.(or other side on a pos ground) ground car and is a period peice, the black is a bugeye rear bumper mount support goes inside the cave. Might also be MK I MG.
DuH!!In this age of electronics I was thinking about doing it on the computer. Old school markers! Right!!

I drew a big number 5 on the big silver thing that appears to be the inside of a sun visor; but when I scroll down, my blue #5 I wrote moves down to an open space.
How will I get the marker off the screen?
10 and 16 appear to be "handed" bits of the same part, and I've NO idea what LBC they could fit. Too "fancy."
5 looks to be the rear generator mount from ~something~.
12 looks like something from a "modern" car. Like a bracket for an A/C compressor or alternator off'n a Japanese vehicle... You ain't been "colorin' outside th' lines" on us, have ya?!? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
vping - #3 (left) looks suspiciously like the thingys currently holding my wife's mop and broom onto the garage wall. You sure these are MG bits?? The P clips on #3 (right) are fuel/brake/wiring harness clips.
#7 looks like a pair of oversized MGB horn brackets, but with extra holes.
#1 Looks like the outter can (without the guts) of a Lucas flasher relay.
#7 A pair of horn mounts
#8 looks like a bracket for a coil
#13 looks like a Lucas battery ground strap
That's about all I can even guess at (and I am guessing)
#6 is a bumper bracket for a B. But don't ask me if it's front or rear
#3s are flasher clips
Nasa may be looking for some of those other parts... Better send that pic to them /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
