Hi Team,

Looking for a little help with a name for the meet to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Sprite. The event will be held in May 2008 in Pennsylvania; details will be forthcoming later. In the meantime, we need a name.

This event is actually the 5th in a series of every-five-years meets in honor of the Sprite, and here are the names of the previous ones:

1988 - Sprite Fest
1993 - Sprite Bash
1998 - Sprite Rush
2003 - Sprite Spree

I think you see the pattern, although nothing says that the name of the 50th anniversary event has to strictly follow any pattern. So, please put on your thinking caps or contact the Mothership -- whatever you do to get creative -- and suggest-away! Thanks.

(Yes, this is also posted in the Spridgets Forum.)

2008 - Simply Sprite!

How about "Spritesylvania"?
Or, if it is in western PA then perhaps "Spriteslovakia".

I'd like to put Sprite Spirits 2008.
When Geoff Healey visit in Japan a month before he passed a way,he was interviewed in a TV progrm. He was asked the reason why his father named the little car Sprite. He replied that his father loved the ward "SPIRITS"and he named it Sprite.
I love this story and it would be grate if the ward used for 50 th anniversary of Sprite.

Hiroshi,

I hope to meet you next time I visit Japan. My wife's family all live near Omiya (now Saitama City) in Saitama Ken in a little town called Shira Oaka (White Hill). Maybe we can go to the Yakatori-ya-san and talk about cars. I miss the flavor of authentic Yakatori and Nikomi Motsu.

Where do you live in Japan?
