the only representing Healey was Mr.T. Cowan 1960 Sebring Sprite(nice car)
there was not a big healey or a 100 to be found all 3 day weekend long
not even in the club parking lot(whats up GGHC)

I talked to a mess o folks and came away with the feeling that the new management "leaves a bit to be desired", so to speak. Plenty of ruffled feathers.

Sorry to disappoint ya, but after the miserable weather I endured at the Sonoma Motorsports Festival at Sears Point in June, I decided to stay in Portland, OR and race in the rain. It was so bad a lot of "Cali" drivers didn't even go out. Unfortunately for me, a brush with the tire wall in turn # 11 left a few repairs to do before I get back on the track.

The Historic Motorsports Association (HMSA), the new promotor of the Monterey event is much more "selective" of the cars and marques allowed entry. Cris Vandagriff, the president of HMSA is an Austin Healey fan, he just requires that your car is period correct, clean, straight, and well presented. This can be a hard challenge for the true competitive vintage racer.
