Looks very nice! It won't be long now. Maybe it'll be back home when the cool weather starts to return.

Everybody who's seen that body is amazed at the condition its in - never in an accident, no body filler, so little rust I'd call it "rust free"! Looks like you just took Jerri's VW's spot in the lineup, Jack....don't know what she'll say about that when YOU tell her.....hehehehe

Nice find there, Jack. No rust is a really good thing. You're sure moving right along!

Jack was here today to finalize the body restoration...he's driving home this evening....I get to wander over to the body shop every now & then to see the progress.....guess that makes me a 'Godfather'....hehehehe

In the shop with Miss Agatha are 2 old Chevy Impalas, a beautiful Camaro ('69 I think), a georgeous early Corvette, & 2 early Chevy pickups....not a modern car on the property!
& Jerri's Bug goes in next!

WOW! Every 100 yards. I guess you're pretty bruised up from playing "slug bug" AKA "punch buggie".

More naked pics to follow as I get organized here. Six hour drive today. Shop is great, clean, neat, and his work is super along with his prices. 3K for the whole trick. More later. Delivered first of Sept.

Jack:

$3k for all the body work? Does that include the media blast?

I am just curious, because I will be negotiating a respray on mine in the next few months.

Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick - Its everything! To completely clear coat my 380SL with new paint on hood & trunk, sanded with 3000 & buffed was only $1500!

The guy's also getting a couple of my cars....I think when people find out about him, he'll stay busy!

Man's got 2 paint booths - 1 for cars, 1 for body panels.
