Same here. I know they had a Midget Cobra aty one of the GRM 20XX Challenges, but I have no idea who made the kit. I'm sure that one is FG.

We had a discussion about this "style" bonnet on the BCF years ago BCF link . I think it is a Devin, modeled after the Ferrari 250 MM. It is a single piece, but it has a lot of the same lines.
It might still be available locally in California.

OH EMM GEE!!! I LOVE THAT!

Take a closer look. It's brilliant! The fenders are stock 1500. The bonnet is stock 1500. The freakin' <span style="font-style: italic">valance panel</span> is stock 1500! The ENTIRE EFFECT is done by reshaping the grille opening and grafting it on! This may be the best, cheapest, most effective 1500 cool-mod EVER!

See past the grill shape:

The work on the rear is well-done -- look at that fender beading -- but I don't know how he's gonna fit a folding hood on that.

Closer (and more sober) scrutiny at the pics confirms that the schnoz is essentially a cap over the grille hole. The bonnet is cut back to just in front of the latch. The turn signal holes are covered like Miss Triss's. You can even see the shadow of the seam line on the fenders.

Man, this would be a cheap and easy mod. I love that that the Midget DNA is so obvious. Make this, and the world will beat a path to your door. :hammer:

And I'd be first in line.

I've been thinking about a bolt on Sebring nose for quite some time. I don't know about beat a path, but might move two or three of them.

Headlight center-to-center measurement only varies by about 1/2" b/w the Midget and a real Cobra. I just so happen to have a Contemporary kit here on the lift. Supposedly, at the time it was made it was the closest you could get to the real thing. It's supposed to be pretty accurate.

Yep, my guess is one off, custom, notice the rear cockpit opening has been altered as well to resemble the early Midget and Bugeye
