The mighty Casey has hit a ground rule double. After a year and a half I finally got the engine in my spit6 project to run. Thanks to the help of another forum member (Bob_tr6) the spit6 engine roared to life yesterday. Had a couple of vacuum issues to work out and the float on the rear carb was not set right. Hopefully all is well this morning when we re-fire for adjustment.
Got some other electrical and body issues to work out. Small stuff. Getting excited to see what this puppy will do with the added power and torque.
I have used the gt6 trans and the 3.27 rear end. Updates to follow. Pics if I can figure out my camera and how to post them.
