Hey guys,
A continuation of a problem that I thought I had solved. My new J-type overdrive on my TR6 goes into overdrive but won't come out. Tried everything, changing the solenoid, bleeding the darn thing, etc. If it sits overnight, the pressure seems to drop and I can get it into reverse. The builder is likewise pulling his hair out over what to do. We have concluded that it is a pressure problem and aren't sure what to do. Any ideas out there amongst you overdrive specialists? Short of pulling it out and sending it back (nightmare), there has got to be something simple. Our annual car show is in two weeks, looks like I will limp to New Orleans sans overdrive.
