...and I don't mean the BCF. We're in a calm before a predicted Mother Storm, tornado watch 'til 1300. Right now there's NO breeze, no rain, ominously overcast and 75F. No "sounds of industry" or traffic due to the day of the year.

Jack's area looks to be getting hammered by the onshore part of it now... Stay safe 'n dry, Jack!!

This is spooky. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hunker down, put another pot o' coffee on and stay safe.

Yup-yup. About to brew-up pot#2 for the day, make some ham 'n eggs fer Breakfast.

....uh-oh... just heard the first rolling thunder. Ominous, indeed.

Incoming about now Doc, maybe about 90 minutes worth.
Put a little 'something' in that coffee.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Is nice up here, drying out, and we have sun. Gona have a roll out in an hour or so, no leaks. Time to tune engine a bit. Nothing else left to do till after the first when I order some more parts. Man is it nice to be at this point. Gona really have Christmas tomorrow when last grandkid gets here.

So, today is a quiet day, had Christmas dinner last evening, leftovers GOOD.

Son will be over and will bring his computer, we will have a lan party playing Everquest II. Tis fun with other folks in the room with you to chat. I have about decided I need another monitor on this rig so I can play and surf at the same time.

See what trouble I get in when I run out of parts.

Have a great day folks, enjoy your family, hug your kids and wife or girl friend or what ever.

Crisp clear and cold here for the Christmas AM. heavy frost, mid 20. Sounding sloppy for tonight though.
Keep safe Doc, and all others in the path.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Just starting the first 'sprinkles'. Coffee's hot, Christmas ham 'n eggs were yummy. Herself went to Miami, I stayed behind to 'mind the store.' She's got sunshine now too.

HARUMPF. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Have the doors of th' hovel open, thunder still distant. Glad you're out from under it, Jack!

Puerto Rico looks like it should look here today! Geez. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

...and actually, I'm quite happy. I just can't "play out" today. Plenty of trouble to get into indoors, tho. I may decide to attack the rest of the kitchen cabinetry. That'd surprise herself... and be an appropriate post Christmas gift.

As long as I clear out the sawdust and debris before she gets back. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Drizzly day in Clarksville - hoverin' around 50 degrees. Getting ready for the Christmas service in a few minutes, then home to fry the turkey for dinner. Did somebody say "Egg nog's ready"? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think we should all head over to Dale's place! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think we should all head to Docs' place and drink beer while we watch him re-do the cabinets. Or sneak out into the garage and uncover the Elan.
Jeff

~I'll~ supply th' beer if you have the 'nads to start THAT project! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Yeah, this is the first wave. The PO of the MGB just called: he's affixed his oarlocks and is rowin' this way, bringin' a fresh supply of CAB. We got this car from him in '88. He's a friend, it was a 'forced sale' and he didn't want it in the hands of strangers.

Christmas Day is lookin' a little more enjoyable now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Well guys, the Bacardi factory sits by the ocean
about three miles from the Crypt. They also have
the Bacardi 911 emergency van in case fiestas run out.
Also where on Sundays the professional Jet Ski drag
races are held. 140+ mph on a jet ski??

Now I got a whole bunch of tools in the crypt.
So, I'm thinking here that if everyone brings
one spare part and their favorite tool, we could
throw one heck of a fiesta, spit-roast a whole pig
and raise Crypty from the dead.

And you cold region guys could enjoy some warm weather
and bikini babes. No woman looks good in a snow parka,
boots, mittens, scarf, two wool sweaters, wool hat, snow
pants and with her nose drippin' from the cold. It
just don't happen. LOL

tinster lovin' life to the fullest in the tropics

37 F here now. raining, soon to be sleet and slush. Half the clan is headin out for Orlando at O-dark hundred tomorrow. If things were a bit different, I'd be in the train-o-cars, heading down with 'em. (definatly with a side trip to "da hovel" to have a CAB wid Doc)
But this week is needed to find a replacement for the customized family truckster. So warm climes will have to wait 'till spring.~sigh~

There's always something nice after the storm... and sometimes at the end of the rainbow... thisn's for Doc...

That's about as disappointing as the news I've lost an Uncle of Consequence on Friday. My Uncle Joe (DiCarlo) passed the friday before Christmas...
