Take a look at these two ebay listings

Some of the picture look to much a like.

Yes, these are identical pics for two supposedly different cars. If you really want to mess with them, wne them an e-mail telling themyou are nearby and would like to come view the car in person. See who responds. I figure the one in Ohio is the scam who has jsut lifeted some pcis off of e-bay and is hoping for a buy it now....who know what his scam is, but there is obviously something up here.

I just took a look at both listings. The cockpit shots are identical. The rest of the photos are not. The VIN numbers provided are different. One car is in Utah and the other in Mississippi. Terriphill, who is in Ohio?

The guy in Utah sells books and says he is a licensed car dealer. The guy in Mississippi sells jewelry and loose diamonds.

Doesn't really look like a scam, but maybe a little hype?

I see two different exteriors with identical engines and interiors. One from Utah and one from Mississippi. What's up with this?

Oops...I meant Utah not Ohio. Trying to follow the forum, the kids, CSI and answering phones is too much multitasking I guess. Sorry.

Okay, I know I'm old and probably my vision isn't what it used to be but...

I see two different vehicles (exterior) and VIN's are different. Perhaps when you first looked on E-bay they messed up the photos?

Just a thought.

Maybe its not a scam, but why would you put photos that are obviously NOT of your car in your ad? I still say, it would be interesting to contact the seller and ask for additional photos or ask to come by and see it.

Especially photos of bad painting of the engine and rear axle.

That's a wierd one. Obviously the same really badly painted engine and interior pics, but neither listing has the smell of a scam. Both include some identifiable info (tel number in one and a dealer's license number in the other) that you never find in scam listings.

So what's with these? Not a clue. There's no way this could be an accident, and it makes no sense to use someone else's pics. Gentlemen, we got us a conundrum.
