...'cause it sure don't seem like it here! Sun's out, temps in the mid 50s! Usually by this time of year we've got a foot of snow, or it's at least cold enought to be turning local ponds into hockey rinks.
I had the doors off the Jeep today for pete's sake. Passed a couple of motorcycles, saw one of those Chevy SST (or whatever)_ truck things with the top down.... It's neat, but kinda freaky.... I'm waiting for the "big one" to be rollin in behind this.. We don't tend to get this lucky without paying for it.
But I guess I'll enjoy it for now. 51 deg F right now at 10:30 PM!!!!! I should be havin a campfire or something..
Supposed to last the rest of the week. It's been nice all week so far.

Yeah the weather here in northeast US is really warm. I spent the last two days outside working on my other racer....welding, grinding, etc.
And the top's been down in the Miata.
Pretty soon, the snow will be here and we'll be stuck inside. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

In the 60's around here - squirrels are still collecting nuts!

Just do a road trip to Calgary by next week and I'll show you some real winter... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif We've had snow on the ground constantly (at least some amount at least) for well over a month now

Sure it is... Its cold here, and as wet as usual.

But I saw a couple of Christmas-present convertibles (who else would be so crazy in Scotland) driving with their tops down and their hats and coats on during a brief sunny spell last week...

We are haveing winter here in Florida this month, got down to 40 one nite.

Snow and wind yesterday, in the teens this morning. We've had snow on the ground since late November, won't be gone until March probably. Winter is really not my thing (so ask me why I live in the Utah mountains...) but it's the driver for the local economy, so I'm not complaining.

Wish it would here! Most of the time it's been in the 60s at night and mid to upper 70s during the day. They were talking about breaking records in Orlando with 84-85 but it doesn't seem to be warming up the way they predicted.

Believe or not I know people who wouldn't dare move to Daytona Beach because it's too far north and gets too cold. Gimmie a break.

Well, these mountains are a mighty beautiful place. Nowhere else in the country do you have the benefits of a city (jobs, retail, cultural events) with this kind of outdoor access this close. Utah is very strange place in many ways, but it does have this way of pulling you in permanently.

I never expected to settle here, but here I am none the less, and I ain't going anywhere anytime soon. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

It's gettin freaky here. In the 60s today. We had the shop doors open. Radio is talking about the maple syrup guys boiling sap already, and trees have buds on them. Our local ski areas are closed. they must be hurting.
The fingerlakes wineries are concerned about this years Ice wines. The grapes need to freeze to make ice wine, and if they don't freeze soon, they'll rot and be no good.. Ice wine may be rather pricey this coming year.

Quikie update... 12:23 PM and it's 58 Deg.... this is just not normal. (I'm lovin it while it lasts)

Just talked to my sister in Denver, 18 inches and its still falling. Here in LR 60 and the sun's coming out tomorrow. I REALLY gotta get that Midget running........

Going to be in the 70s and clear tomorrow in central Virginia. I got the MGB all ready to roll tomorrow for a nice drive.

I love it...it's pouring rain right now...but thats alot better than snow, and it's so warm all you need is a sweatshirt! I'll get some more progress made on the TR6 this weekend, I'll be done that car before I even expected to start!

2.7F here at 2:30 am, just in from a gig (5th in 6 days). About normal for January. Brrrrrr /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

It is 73 degrees F right now outside. I just got back from my usual Saturday drive to the bank only this time it was with the top down! The world once again must have tilted. Thank You!

84 here. A/C has been on for the past two days because of the humidity.

My Healey is on jackstands for maintenance!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif I saw a guy driving his Cobra yesterday!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif
