Hi everyone, i need some help. I have a 1974 tr6 with a rear wheel that's inverted inward and i'm not sure how to fix this problem, it's only on one side the side looks fine also i'm having trouble with my electrical system, none of the lights turn on! Thanks for any advice.

Hi Javier. First, make sure the wheel is really a TR6 wheel. Does it match the other wheels if you turn it back outwards? There may be a reason it's on that way - maybe it's a replacement wheel.

Does the horn work?

When you say inverted inward, do you mean the top or bottom of the wheel is tilted inward (and if so which one)?

Define inverted........... The TR6 rear suspension has negative camber so the top of the wheel will tilt in toward the center of the car.... probably around 1 degree... that's what gives the car a rear end "squat" look.

Start a new thread relative to your light problem and be as specific as you can about what lights work and what don't........head light, tail light, side marker, blinkers, brake, back up, hazard etc. etc.

And download the AAW Wire schematic for reference...... most light problems are the result of bad grounds so start by cleaning them all up.

Hi Javier. If lights, horn, wiper, etc. all don't work, the fuses are probably bad or corroded in the box. If you put in new fuses, and they immediately blow - then you've got wiring problems. Bob's suggestions for the AAW diagrams is your next step.

Wheel: lift that corner on jack. Try to shake the wheel by holding it top and bottom. Does it feel loose? Shake by holding it left and right. Does it feel loose?

Let us know what you find.

Have you checked the frame? IRS Trailing Arm mounting sections and or the upper spring point on these frames are known weak points. Have the frame checked by a competent shop.
