Interesting mix of cars

These are for sale by a New York dealer.

There is sort of an interesting mix of cars and vehicle condition (not all Brit).
Asking prices are mostly listed.

<s>Where is he located? I couldn't find any contact info</s>
Ah, found it! Talked with the guy - the MGA coupe isn't there yet...its on the way from Ohio...he's going to post more photos when it arrives (I asked him for some specific shots)

Some interesting cars in that group.

I'd have a really good time as an eccentric and wealthy car collector. I've got the first part down already. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

That's not eclectic, not even close... The true test of eclectic (and/or arcane) is how many people can identify your car, when they see it, the smaller the number the better... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

That cream colored Porsche looks extremely fermiliar. It's quite possibly ( most likley)another car, bur there's one of those that seems to resurface in my travels in very odd ways. Last I knew it had been recovered by the police, mostly undamaged in California.
I did a TON of work on that car.

He's a dealer who brings in cars from all over...couldn't tell exactly but from his accent, I'd guess India or Pakistan...seemed a nice guy & said he'll call me when he has more photos/info on the MGA Coupe.

One amusing comment from the seller amongst pictures of one of the MG-TDs he has for sale: "There is rust on the floors...." Not quite sure how he means that, seeing as the TD had wood floors. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
He's a dealer & I don't think he's marque-specific knowledgeable.

It looks like the place that used to be Gullwing. It's in Brooklyn, so it seems plausible.

That 250C Benz is a STEAL... What a magnificent old boat! I can about SMELL the great ol' lump. I'm sure there are "hidden" issues with it, but if it's as solid as it appears that could be a really fine car with an infusion of time and money. Real "sleeper" with potential to pay back in spades, IMO.

Yeah...that's something I've long found to be very irritating! I don't mind it as much when, say, a Ford dealer somehow takes an MG-TD in trade, but any dealer of "classics" really ought to know more about their own stock! It's not like the information isn't available. I wouldn't buy antique furniture from a dealer who didn't know Chippendale from chipwood, so.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Maybe he means they are missing and he assumes they rusted away? Could be scary!

That smallmouth TR-3 looks decent.

Tony, Kruse just had the first classic car auction here in Hawaii last weekend.

Like ebay in Hawaii, the cars that sold were so underpriced it wasn't even funny.

Can you say primo condition MGA TWIN CAM for 14100?

Made my heart suffer for those selling or trying to sell great cars. A lot of people dropped the reserve because they were trying to sell the cars as they've had them so long they want to unload them to not bother their wife's with them.

A great running, and looking TD went for 15K..... So if you're interested, mebbe next year.

Some nice cars. Of course as usual I'm always attracted to the cars in the worst shape. That TR3a sure looks nice.
