I was having a time trying to install the windshield frame back on the car. I found several ideas by searching and thought about it for a few days.
This is what I finally came up with. I had a ratchet strap with a rubber coated hook. I hooked it in the hole for the jack and tied a loop on the other end. With a rag on the bottom of the frame and a couple wood blocks I used a pry bar to push the frame down. I was careful not to put pressure on the cowl itself. Shirley then reached in and was able to start the bottom bolt far enough so turning it with a ratchet wrench the threads pulled it through so a lock washer and nut could be put on. Then the upper screw was able to be started and then turned in.
I then cut slots in the spacers like some others had done. They were slipped in on the bottom and rotated to fit the top and tightened the fasteners.
