Ok Jack I just got my tree down yesterday and still have the lights up outside and they will not be coming down until it gets a heck of a bit warmer. It is cold enough to skin a fairy out there today

That's funny.
I used that quote in a class yesterday while we were discussing geometry.

It's by Rene Descartes, the first person to describe carteseian coordinates ("cartesian" comes from his last name).

My Christmas stuff has been down for a while, but one of my neighbors still has the whole nine-yards going on with tree, lights, decorations, etc. I guess they are "hanging on" to Christmas as long as they can.

Yeah, you guys are right....if Basil wants to leave his Christmas message up a little longer, that's certainly no problem with me. He works very hard on our behalf.
