You all have gotten to know a bit about me, as much as most folks and more than some in any case. So here is our Christmas letter. Mike and Susan are children all others are grandkids.

Merry Christmas and may your new year be filled with LBCs or even big ones.

Christmas 2006

Well, “The Nutcracker” has come and gone and this year only Kay and Elinore attended. It was beautiful as always. Katie spent that weekend with her ROTC unit traipsing about in the woods on the Eglin reservation and sleeping in a very chilly tent. It was a stark reminder that kids grow up, and things don’t stay the same.
Speaking of that, however, Jack has spent a large part of this year restoring a 1958 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite. This will be the third Sprite for us. Our first was acquired in 1962 when we arrived in Hawaii and discovered gas was so expensive. Deja vu all over again!
In April we took a river cruise to Belgium and Holland. It was a great trip. We’ve decided it’s our favorite type of travel and plan to do more of it.
In late May, Katie, Elinore, and Andrew, Susie’s six year old, joined Kay for a week’s trip to Disney World. All went well, and Grandma has fully recovered.
Jack’s sister is getting married on December 29th in Romeo, Michigan, so we’ll be flying up there. It’ll be a wonderful family gathering, and we’re looking forward to it.
Susie and her family are still living in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and she stays busy driving Andrew to his roller hockey games and Rebecca to her pre-school and ballet classes. Mike lives just up the road in Niceville and still loves his job as a webmaster for the Air Force Weapons Center.

Jack and Kay

The Merriest of Christmases to you and yours, may the holidays be filled with joy that carries throughout the year!

Merry Christmas to all!

We never seem to motivate to get a Christmas letter, Heck, we don't even get Christmas cards out. But it's been a good year, with lots to be thankful for. Finished up a year in our new house, both have jobs we still like, and, of course, the Tunebug found his way to us as well.

Put the decorations up this past weekend, and outside had 2 feet of new snow. Winter wonderland for sure.

Jack - I'm thankful there are still folks like you around who aren't afraid to say "Merry Christmas"! 'Happy Holidays' - BAH HUMBUG!!

Merry Chrstmas & Happy Hannukka (I can never spell it correctly) to everybody!

Merry Christmas Jack and everyone else on this forum. I too have had a good year with all my children and related family healthy. I have enjoyed the discussions and encouragement from everyone here. The "tub" is happy in that finally someone is paying attention. My basement is a parts mess but getting better, cleaner and shinier everyday. There are few things in my life other than family that i focus on. I do alot of volunteer work with youth athletics and love it. Working on my healey is my therapy when i need that "me" time. There's not much of that available but i get it in. Let's hope 2007 is a great year for the world and for LBC's.

Having been in retail for almost 40 years, it becomes increasingly difficult to obtain the Christmas Spirit.

However...

I sincerely hope that you ALL have a very enjoyable Holiday Season and a Prosperous New Year.

Regards......

Thanks for sharing your warm Christmas Letter.

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah to all.

Patrick
