I have three Road Springs...

OK, I know this seems silly, but I am doing a frame off re-build and I pulled the road springs out of the box and now there are only three. Two taller ones and one shorter one. Which goes where? Bigger ones in the front or the back?

None of my books show any way to really differentiate.

Thanks

If it is like my TR4A IRS then the long ones go in the back. I got my car in boxes as well but I had 6 springs all the same length. I did not find out I had three pairs of front springs until I was finished and my car looked a bit low in the back (lower then a frogs differential a friend of mine put it).

If I remember correctly the lengths are something like 11 or 12 inches for the rear and 9 or so inches for the front.

Hope this helps.
