That I like, always wanted to do that too a TR6.
Living in NC with all the NASCAR and HotRods, when ever I show the Roadster they all want to know what kind of V8 it has, with that long of a hood how could it only have a tiny 4 cylinder. Maybe one day.

British Car - No North American cars hurt in the building. I take your point about the rims, though the purpose of the exercise is not really restoration or even modification but, imagining an Interceptor in 2013. I actually think they have pulled it off pretty well - some mustang, a lot Camaro (especially the rear end) and certainly, a 2013 Camero or Charger would have 20's.

Interestingly SWMBO likes the new better than the old.

Here is a similar imagining:

Scimitar this time. What I do appreciate about both is the quality, attention to detail and willingness to try something different. I love my LBC's but when I get to car shows and there are (Literally) dozens of identical Midgets or MGBs or TR6's, it is kind of cool to see something unique.

All, on the TR6 up dating! There are loads of parts available to give the TR6 a modern stance with all the handling performance most of us could handle. Now a balance of power with that handling is where the big difference in each individual appears. I liked the BMW M3 project, but concerned it was over the top. Super charger not a bad idea, but reliability without some changes to the TR6, again a concern. A small V6 with EFI, bring home between 200 and 250 horsepower coupled with a already available 5 speed and a Mustang ll front end, this should allow for a reliability factor of about 90 out of 100 on a trip around the US, once the bugs were taken care of.

Just dreaming, Wayne
