What is the best proceedure for installing the pistons in the calipers after the seal is instlled. Haynes says to fit the seal, previously wetted with brake fluid, into the groove in the cylinder bore with the scraping edge (smaller diameter) innermost. I cannot detect any difference in the diameters of the new Moss seals. After the seal is in the groove and the dust cover is installed I insert the new piston, make sure it is centered but I cannot just push it past the seal with my hands. Should I use a "C" clamp to push the piston past the seal? Should I use some other lubricant on the pistons? Thanks for your help and have a good day!
