Happy New Year!

How many miles did you drive your AH in 2006? I clocked 1,665 miles on my 65 BJ8. Usually I break the 2,000 mile mark. Gotta due better in 2007.

Maybe 3, but they were 3 really good miles. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I might've gotten fifteen (15) miles, tops. I drove the car around our subdivision several times to keep the rotors/drums clean.

As soon as I can put some fake/temporary bumpers on it, I should be able to get it registered/licensed here in Ohio (still holding a Louisiana title).

Are you guys kidding? Put 3500 miles on in 2006. Would have done more, but had to work for a living. Do you guys visit it in the garage or what?

-----------------------Yep ! --Keoke---No big miles to report for last year maybe about 1000.

It was a sub-par year for me too. I drove the Healey 800 miles in '06. I usually can log 1,500 or so. I now split the road time between two old brit cars which keeps the mileage low on both. I hope to do much better in '07.

I didn't take any long trips this year but managed to get about 3000 miles on the 100 and about 1000 on my wife's 3000, most of which were to and from Conclave in Akron.

We did about 5,000 miles and 8 states - about a normal year.
2007 will start with the TR club Polar Bear Run on Feb 11th and the first long trip will be the TX Healey Round-Up in April.

~150 miles. Hopefully more miles coming after I get the gearbox back in and the clutch working properly.

I easily put 5,000 miles a year on my '67 BJ8. I bought the car to drive and have fun with, not to have it sit in my garage. The garage time is coming up, I usually work on it in the Winter between January and May then it's back on the road again.

I did not count but it must be well over 10,000 miles.

4750 was just the run to Nelson and the after tour.

I did 200 miles on the 29th with a run up Mount Hamilton to Lick Observatory going the long route.

under 1,000...mostly short trips into town to pick up the Sunday paper and the occasional blast through favorite country backroads. Always a thrill.

My best estimate is around 1,000 miles, of top-down, trouble-free driving.

In the hills of Eastern Ohio, there are lots of roads that are a treat to drive. One of my best friends is a muscle car enthusiast, and, during the warmer months, we had a Sunday morning (after church, of course) routine of taking our cars for a 40 to 50 mile cruise. We were quite the "odd couple;" a white over red Tr-Carb being followed by a yellow and black '68 Plymouth Roadrunner, or vice versa. Those trips had to account for 700 miles of the total, and all the miles I drove were within 50 miles of home.

For 2007, I resolve to drive my car lots more, and as soon as I finish with this post, to write down my odometer mileage, so that I can better respond to a similar question at the end of the year.

About 500 miles all in the last couple of months, many in the last week while off of work with several sunshine/top down days !
The plate didn't go on until the end of October.
I hope to put many more miles on it in 2007.
