How do I know this? This evening my wife came home with a new hair cut and asked me how I liked it. Its gonna be a long weekend. I'm 50 years old and I have been married 27 years. You would think by this point I would have learned to keep my mouth shut. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif Oh well, Merry Christmas to everyone else.

John - been there done that...multiple times! Go get her an extra nice gift for Christmas or take her out to dinner to "show her off" to all the old fogeys with blue haired matrons for wives!
 
I don't know...

My wife seems to know when I'm telling her what she wants to hear. And her response to that is, well... cool. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
 
As we all know, this is a lose-lose situation....you lose if you're honest and you lose if you're not.

After 27 years of marriage, you already know that "this, too, shall pass. Just be nice...do a few "honey-do's" she;s been wanting, and the planets will re-align.

Oh, I feel your pain, brother......been there too. I can get around that a little now by being pre-emptive. I usually get advance warning of her planning to get her hair done, and I make comments from time to time on how much I like what she has done to her hair for a week or so before she goes to the hairdresser, (invariably true, though) and now, after she gets it cut she will say things like

"I know you liked it the way it was, it will soon get back to the shape that I want it"....

Women: You never get to understand 'em but you learn how to play the game a little.
 
Man, I am sooo glad Horsemits doesn't do that stuff. Her hair is long and straight. If she has it cut, it's just a haircut, not a Q&A. Sometimes she even asks me to trim it.

My better half has curly hair and cuts it herself and it always looks great(she's looking over my shoulder) lol

Mine of 47 years knows I have great taste, heck I picked her at her High School Prom and never looked back.
 
Gentlemen it is my honor to report that i have been allowed to leave the confines of the dog house. I spent a long day with my wife going through one christmas shopper choked store after another. In the end my dogged persistence paid off as I once again gained the warmth and comfort of the marital bed. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
