Well, I've been restoring cars as a trade since I was about 16, when I first began helping my Paps strip the paint off of automobiles. Over twenty-five years later I've worked on many Mini's, Morris', Sprite's, but never an MGB, which is the current customer car in my care. Looking forward to leaning upon the forum for help with reassembly. Cars aside I enjoy plenty of music and DIY repair of electronics and computers. Sometimes I combine the two by stripping an ailing computer mouse and of its now gummy-to-the-touch finish and giving it a fresh coat of paint before putting it back into service. Where are all my fellow Robin Trower and Saxon fans?

Welcome aboard, Matthew! Sounds as if you'll fit right in around here.

There's a LOT of MGB experience here, you should get any answer you need fairly quickly. But it sounds like you've got a good skill-set already. What year is the B you're doing? Nearly twenty years of production saw some variations, after '67 the complexity increased and performance declined.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! This customer's B is a 1980 or 1979. I can't recall exactly which, but it came in with so much rust that I essentially had to dismantle the entire car, purchase someone else's neglected B project to get a good body, and soon I will be tasked with reassembling with a boat-load of new parts and I'm going to need a manual of some sort on how to reassemble an MGB. 😅

Assembly is the reverse of disassembly. :ROFLMAO:
