As a car guy, I've always kinda wanted a British roadster/convertible. Last fall, my wife and I were watching The Crown and as "Prince Charles" drove his beautiful Aston in a scene, she said "we need one of those." We're not in the tax bracket that can afford a DB6 but about a week later, we owned a really nice '73 TR6 (and she loves it).

I've been fixing a few little things here and there over the past few months (aren't there always some of those) but then I ran into (what I eventually found was) a pretty minor clutch system problem that I ended up making a (potentially) major gearbox problem while trying to figure it out.

I found a thread here that had some possibly relevant info but I needed an account to see one of the photos so I joined :smile: Looks like a pretty nice forum...I'll keep poking around a bit.

Welcome to the British Car Forum skillz. I must say you made a wise decision on a "73 TR6... but I'm impartial since I also own one ;)
Check out the "Triumph" section..... you will get plenty of help whenever you need it.
